This brochure cover features a leather texture and three diecuts, going from showing the cover image, to the same image on a camera viewscreen, a computer screen, and finally a picture frame. Inner spreads also feature printed velum overlays with diecuts to help call out special areas of the photograph beneath them.

JDA used these promotion pieces to give out during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. They proved to be a hit with attendees, as they not only showcased samples of JDA’s capabilities, but also included sunglasses printed with “Nice Package” or “Nice Rack”. While meant to turn heads at C.E.S., they were also meant to speak of JDA’s expertise in packaging and retail graphics. You and your dirty mind!

Shot with Jim Purdum from Los Angeles, California, this photo shoot depicts a day in the life of young adults, enjoying friendships and sharing the memories using Canon’s IVY Mini Printer.

Your car is your “personal space”, and I used that mentality to elevate the driver experience as they live out their singing, aviation, and astronaut aspirations with the help of Kenwood car audio products.

The cover of this brochure is elegantly printed with a high-gloss varnished PIXMA logo set on top of a soft-touch printing technique that resembles velvet. The inner spreads include sheets of acetate printed with white ink to help call out specifics of the photographs that lay underneath.

Getac’s line of rugged laptops are featured in this equally rugged brochure. The cover mimics their laptop casing, complete with debossed panels that show through to the other side of the cover.

The Canon IVY family kicked off with a mini printer that prints photos from your smartphone. The IVY line then expanded, with mini printers that are also cameras. The CLIQ+ takes photos and also works with your smartphone, while the CLIQ models simply shoot and print. All IVY models use ZINK paper, which boasts no ink to buy because the ink is already in each ZINK sheet. This project was a pleasure to brand from the beginning stages of logo development, to the lifestyle photo shoots, and finally the finished printed products.

Canon’s red lines on their camera lenses denote quality and luxury, and the same goes when you see the red line on their printers. For this brochure, a red line runs throughout the center of the brochure and makes the connection with Canon’s products and technologies. Images on the inside of the brochure are coated with high-gloss UV to help them stand out, and printed velum inserts help call out specifics about the photograph featured beneath them.

Getac’s Veretos line offers those in law-enforcement in-vehicle equipment for capturing and recording events, and they work with Getac’s rugged line of laptops and tablets as well.

What can I say, the folks at JDA, Inc. love to have fun—especially with their annual holiday promotions. In this case, the V.P. of JDA not only compiled a collection of her favorite pie recipes, but also baked and photographed them all for this project. A tongue-in-cheek reference to those old “wild” DVD collections, this promotion is a collection of high-gloss recipe cards of tried and true pies, with a bit of a naughty twist.

These two trifold brochures showcase Getac’s line of rugged laptops and tablets, geared towards both federal and law-enforcement agencies.

Canon’s MAXIFY line of printers are geared towards high-volume, small-business printing ideal for a variety of industries. This brochure cover is die-cut to mimic a bracket, which is meant to bring together all the concepts behind what small businesses envision for themselves. For the inside pages, the small red brackets are specifically placed and embossed so they show through on the red box of each following page. If that’s not enough, how about some red staples to bind the book and help further accent Canon’s corporate color?

More IVY collaboration with the great lifestyle photographer, Jim Purdum. We were approached by Canon to help showcase their new lines of Mini Camera Printers using young adults doing what they do best—making memories and having fun. This project also involved intermittent video shoots for Canon to use on social media.

Kenwood U.S.A. boosted their social media presence with the help of these and many other graphics.

Endcaps and in-store graphics help convey a story and aids in getting a company’s brand in front of those who need to see it most—the consumer. In this case, it’s for Canon’s Full HD Movie Print technology, featuring large lug-ons of a Canon camera and a Canon printer, anchored by a PDQ tray which shows additional messaging and holds consumables associated with the featured printer.

This three-tiered display shows off the three different colors of the original IVY lineup, and features a video of the product’s capabilities.

Made of corrugate, this display had the challenge of holding each of the IVY and CLIQ packages as well as packages of ZINK paper. Additional challenges included having to educate the differences between the products and also showcase printed samples and how they can be used.
